within One Year?
Take some committed young people, an enthusiastic singer/dancer/entrepreneur and mix it all together with a strong vision of doing something never done before, and you have The 1,000 Dreams Project!
What is The 1,000 Dreams Project?
It's simple. 1,000 people with 1,000 dreams. A small team of amazing teens who are convinced that they can make dreams come true with enough vision, hard work, contacts, and perseverance. A deadline. ONE YEAR. Everyone helping Everyone. Using any and all resources we can think of from the people on Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook, to the President, business owners and entrepreneurs, along with seniors and homeless. Only by working together can we make this project a reality.
The 1,000 Dreams Project is in the planning stages and will be officially launched on July 1, 2009. Entries will be accepted starting May 1, 2009 and the Dreamers we select will be notified by the end of June. The goal is to help all 1,000 Dreamers achieve their dream by the deadline of July 1, 2010, giving us exactly ONE YEAR to make it happen.
